The most entertaining performance-PatoRanking.

Last night’s performance by PatoRanking @ The Mosi Day of Thunder in Livingstone was more than epic.

Firstly, what caught my attension about Patoranking was his humbleness. Earlier, the organisers, tried to chase all the Zambian artists from the VIP lounge after they all performed when Pantoranking was about to come to the lounge before be he cud step on stage.

This upset the artists who refused to vacat the lounge saying they wer still going to be thr & meet the Nigerian star. The organisers met the likes of Dj Cosmo who managed to put them in their place by telling them off that their decision to chase off local artists from the longe was rubbish.

When Patoranking stepped in amdist heavy security, the first thing he did was to extend his warmth greeting (hugs) to all the Zambian artists, even shimikard with most of us much to the suprise of the organisers.

When he got on stage, clad in a zambian jersy-wriiten Kalusha B, he put out an exclusive live performance ever that i have not watched from most visiting international artists. He spiced his performance by allowing Roberto & Slap D on his set to perform with him, he sang to each and every word of the amarular song, and did a verse on it. He further endosed Slap d’s for a long time song and performed with him through out the song. This is an action that took everyone by suprise as it has been a missing link from these international artists headlining Zambian events. PatoRanking was so different like the title of his latest song-so diffferent.

Note that the two artists Roberto & Slap D wer not even part of the lined up artists but travelled all the song to have this link up with Patoranking.

Patoranking also used our very own dj, The maddest & baddest V jeezy, offcourse alongside his own dj.

Coming back to our local artists, they up a memorable performance and put to shame those that say Zambian artists can’t perform live. Not to be biased but I will comment more on Bobby East’s performance because I watched every bit if it. He put out, a thrilling performance, he killed it. His live performance was so exceptional. Kudos to Hmark & them for such a lit set of performance.
